For more than 150 years the M.E.N have told the stories of the people of what is now known as Greater Manchester. We have always been committed to reporting the news accurately, fairly and vigorously, holding those in authority to account and campaigning on behalf of the needs and interests of the people in the region.
Following the recent tragic events in Manchester we have campaigned to help make our city a more peaceful place, launching the We Stand Together campaign to fight hate crime and to persuade our educational chiefs to include peace studies on the curriculum of every primary and secondary school in Greater Manchester. Following the bomb attack in May we worked with our readers to raise £2.5m to help those affected. We also report extensively and in unrivalled depth on our two world-famous football clubs, Manchester United and Manchester City, coverage which is enjoyed by readers locally and around the world.Visit Website
